Assist customers in selecting and identifying spare parts.

Inform customers of related part requirements and specials.

ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.

Assist other departments in supplying and ordering spare parts.

Complete order forms and process customer sales.

Communication

–        Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.

–        Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.

–        Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.

Maintain a high degree of knowledge and proficiency with regard to the parts business and functions performed in order to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction with parts service.

Handle customer issues in a friendly, pleasing and personal manner.

Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary.

Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.

Manage all aspects of billing and accounts payable including internal requests billed on service repair orders and direct customer payment/invoicing.

Loading and unloading incoming materials, supplies and equipment.

Unpack and received materials, verify quantity and check for discrepancies or damages.

Enters records of goods received and dispatched into company systems.
