Online Procedure to Submit ICAI Exam Form May 2021

ICAI Exam Form May 2021 is available from 31st March 2021 to 16th April 2021. You may submit your CA Final exam form May 2021, CA Intermediate May 2021 exam form and CA Foundation May 2021 exam form online.

CA Foundation exam form and ca final exam form May 2021 and ICAI exam form last date is April 16, 2021. You will be informed when CA May 2021 exam postponed by ICAI official announcement. Till date there is no such ICAI important announcement. Submit CA Foundation exam form May 2021.

If you are going to appear for Chartered Accountancy (CA) Examinations to be held in May 2021, you have to apply online at ICAI official website icaiexam.icai.org and pay CA Exam fee online only.

I have provided the detailed step-by-step guidelines for filling and submitting CA Final May 2021, CA Intermediate May 2021 and CA Foundation May 2021 term of Examination application form online. Here is the procedure for making payment using either your Master/Maestro/ Visa Credit or Debit card or even Virtual Card through Internet Banking facility.

All candidates desirous of applying for CA Exams Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final May 2021 are required to submit their examination application forms online only, at https://icaiexam.icai.org and also pay the applicable examination fee online, during the specified period.

But, before you start following the steps mentioned here under for ICAI exam form online, please keep in mind 7 most useful and important points:

  1. ICAI Exam Form 2021 in Mobile: You may use any latest and updated version of web browser like Internet Explorer versions (9.0 onwards), Mozilla Firefox(5.0 onwards), Google Chrome(41.0 onwards) or Safari(3.4 onwards) through your Personal Computer (PC) and Laptop. But never try to fill up the CA exam form using your mobile phones or Apple iPhone even you have high speed connection data 3G/4G/5G package.
  2. Two Exam Form Simultaneously: Fill up only one online exam form at a time and don’t forget to clear your browsers temporary files and cookies (Ctrl + Shift + Delete) before filling another form, if any, for the coming CA examinations.
  3. Expired Registration: In case your original registration is more than 3/4/5 years, the date of revalidation of registration shall be required for CA Foundation/ Inter/ Final students respectively.
  4. Eligibility: Check your eligibility and keep ready your previous course or last attempts passing details for applying ICAI exams. CA Final Result | CA Inter Result | CA Foundation Result.
  5. ICAI Exam Fees: You may see the exam fee details for online forms and exam centres before applying online for CA examinations. Check Foundation exam fees, Intermediate exam fees and Final exam fees.
  6. Payment Mode: Keep on hand your VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card for payment of Examination Fee. Even if you have not either of these cards, you may use Virtual Credit Card to be accepted as VISA Credit Cards.
  7. Certificate of Service/ Self Declaration: Keep scanned copy of Declaration /Certificate of Service self signed or signed by your principal or member of ICAI (wherever required).

ICAI Online Application Procedure Final/ Inter/ Foundation Exam Form 2021

Sale and submission of OMR examination application form i.e. physical application form for CA Final/ Intermediate/ Foundation has been discontinued for May 2021 examinations. Accordingly, you have to apply and submit CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final May 2021 exam form online only.

Simple online procedure to fill ICAI Exam Form May 2021:

  1. Register your Name or Create Login Account at icaiexam.icai.org
  2. Fill up ICAI Exam Online Application form
  3. Pay ICAI Exam Fee Online
  4. Take print out of submitted ICAI Exam form
  5. Affix your Photo, Sign ICAI Exam printed Form and send to ICAI Office (If required)

ICAI Exam Form May 2021 Last Date:

Last date to submit CA exam form online is 13th April without late fee and 16th April, 2021 with late fee of INR 600. Note that the registration for online submission of ICAI exam forms for May 2021 closes at 5:30 P.M. on 16-04-2021.

Step-1 (Register your Name or Create Login Account):

ICAI exam form online May 2021. First of all you have to create your login account by entering your Registration number, date of birth, valid Email ID and mobile number. To do that, please Click on the link given below and register yourself as shown in this screenshot.

ICAI Exam Login

Registration for Online submission of CA Foundation/ CA Intermediate/ CA Final Exam Forms for May 2021 starts from 31-03-2021 and closes on 13-04-2021. Late fee for CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final Exam form starts from 14-04-2021 to 16-04-2021.

That means applications for admission to CA Foundation, CA Intermediate/ IPCC and CA Final examinations are required to apply online from 31st March 2021 to 13th April 2021 at www.icaiexam.icai.org and also pay the applicable examination fee online only.

However, if you have already created an account for any previous term exam on official website icaiexam.icai.org then, you should login to your account directly for applying for May 2021 examination. In other words, you need not re-create the account for each term.

Register for ICAI Exam

(a) Select the examination: Foundation or Intermediate/ IPCC/ ATE or Final;

(b) Registration No.: Select Prefix of your SRN (Student Registration Number) with ICAI. Thereafter, enter your remaining 7 digit of your Reg. No.;

(c) Date of Birth: In DD/MM/YYYY format;

In Case your Full Name is not displayed on entering the Reg. No. and Date of Birth, you can still create the login account as a PROVISIONAL CANDIDATE by providing correct particulars.

However, you must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.

(d) Email ID: Be careful while entering your E-Mail ID as because all communication including login details will be send by CA Institute to this primary email address; and

(e) Mobile No: Your 10 digit Indian mobile number.

After successful registration, you will see a window showing a message that your profile has been created along with your registration Number and Password. Please note that password for login purpose.

While completing your profile, you are required to provide your other personal details like Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Security Question, and Address. You will have to verify your email id and mobile no, before you can start applying for exams!

If your photo and signature are available with ICAI, the same will be displayed in your dashboard. Your updated uploaded profile photo and signature will be used while applying for ICAI Exams 2021. You also have the option to change the photo while applying for an exam. In such instances, you will have to attach an attested photo and sign the application form while sending it to ICAI. When the application form is received, the same will be verified, scanned and uploaded into the website for further processing in ICAI.

If your photo and signature are not available with ICAI, the same will be indicated in the dashboard. While applying for your next exam, you will have to attach an attested photo and sign the application form while sending it to ICAI. If you are already registered or created your profile then login at icaiexam.icai.org by using your login-id and password already sent to your registered email ID as well as mobile phone.

However, if you either forgot or did not get password, click here and fill up the required details like Reg. No. and DOB and ICAI will resend the login details at your mail box.

Step-2 (Fill up CA Online Application form):

Now, click here to login to your created account and fill up the online CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ IPCC/ Final examination application form carefully. Thereafter, click on save changes button and in the next opened window (i.e. Confirmation Page) check and confirm the particulars displayed viz. Group applied, Region of examination centre, exam centre, medium and registration date etc. Following details shall be shown in the preview window:

DECLARATION CERTIFICATE: For May 2021, CA Institute has made compulsory to attach or upload scanned image of Declaration / Certificate of Service. Note that the scanned image size of Declaration / Certificate of Service should be 100 KB to 200 KB. You may download the format of Declaration / Certificate of Service for CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final examinations.

Step-3 (Pay CA Exam Fee Online):

In the current opened window you may either click on make payment or cancel the payment and log out from there. If you proceed for payment, you have to select your preferred payment method from VISA, MasterCard and Maestro.

If you have created Virtual/ Net/ NetSafe Credit Card (the procedure to create your Virtual Card through Internet Banking has been illustrated above) for making payment then click on VISA and enter the Card Number, Expiry date and security code and click on pay now button from right side.

ICAI Exam Fee Payment

After making successful payment, payment confirmation page will appear containing transaction details. Make sure the transaction response (status) is successful displayed in green color an addition to a message in red color that your transaction is successful.

Photographs and Signatures:

If your photo and sign are in the database of ICAI, you need not required to take print out of exam form. In other words, CA Foundation/ IPCC/ Final candidates whose photographs and signatures are displayed on the screen, on the portal, when they log in, are not required to take a print out (PDF) of the exam form and submit it.

Here is the screenshot which shows the Picture of Student and his/her signature thereon and hence, he/she need not required to take print (PDF file) and send exam form to ICAI.

Therefore, you are not required to follow any further steps i.e. Step-4 and Step-5.

Step-4 (Take print out of PDF form):

Candidates whose photographs and signatures are not in exam data base, i.e. those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen, are required to fill the examination application form, take a print out of Form and send to ICAI. However, such candidates are also required to scan and upload their Certificate of Service, on the portal.

Therefore, login again on ICAIEXAM.ICAI.ORG to take print out of PDF form on A4 size paper with Portrait orientation. Never print on both sides of the paper.

However, if your exam application PDF is not generated please click here and check your status. This issue arises due to many reasons like slow internet/bandwidth, delay response time from bank, applicants refreshing the page frequently etc.

In case the amount have got deducted from your bank account and has not got reflected in ICAI records, please pay again and successfully get the PDF. Don’t worry if any multiple payments received by CA Institute as the extra payment will be refunded by ICAI on its own at the end of the online forms process.

Step-5 (Affix your Photo, Sign it and send to ICAI Office):

Candidates whose photographs and signatures are not in examination data base, i.e. those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen, are REQUIRED to take a print out of the exam form, affix their photographs and signatures at the designated place, get the form attested by a Chartered Accountant or Gazetted officer or Head of an Educational Institution and send the same to Examination Department at the following address, by Speed Post or Registered Post only, on or before the last date for submission of exam forms with late fees .

There is no need to send your printed application form to ICAI. However, if your PHOTO and SIGN is not appearing in your printed form, you must have to paste your recent color photograph of size 3.5 x 4.5 cms in the appropriate place, Sign the form using only Black Ink Pen and get the form attested by Principal/Member of the Institute/Gazetted officer as the case may be.

Pay CA Exams Fee online through Internet Banking/ Virtual Card

If you are submitting ICAI exam form online May 2021, you may use virtual card for making payment of ICAI exam fees. All students who have not Master /Maestro/ Visa Credit or Debit card may use this facility. You can make payment by using internet banking facility to generate free of cost the Virtual Credit Card (VCC) of any bank e.g. SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra etc.

How to create SBI Virtual Credit Card for ICAI Exam Form 2021:

If you have State Bank of India (SBI) internet banking facility then you may use it pay your CA Exam Fee. Following are the procedure for creating online State Bank of India (SBI) Virtual Card:

  1. First Step: Login to your SBI online personal banking account at Online SBI and navigate to the e-Cards option present on the menu bar.
  2. Second Step: Enter your CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final examination fee in the field of Virtual Card Limit and after accepting terms and conditions click on generate button. Thereafter, verify your account and VCC details (i.e. Card holder name, account number and limit) and again click on generate button. You may click on Back button to rectify wrong VCC details, if any.
  3. Final Step: Finally, enter the High Security Password sent to your registered mobile number for internet banking and confirm it. Hey! Your SBI Virtual Card has been created successfully.

Please note down three most important details which will be required at the time of making payment online viz. a) 16 digit Card Number, b) Expiry Date (mm/yy) and Security Code (CVV).

Special Offer

Discontinuance of OMR based ICAI Exam Form 2021

CA Institute informed that it has been decided to discontinue OMR examination application forms with effect from May, 2018 Examination onwards for the students’ examinations. In other words candidates would not be able to submit OMR exam forms along with demand draft for the applicable fee for ICAI May 2021.

Accordingly, there would be no sale of OMR examination application forms across the sale counters of the CA Institute. Thus, ICAI exam form 2021 shall only be available online for Foundation, Intermediate and Final candidates.
